The Distribution Of Telluride Deposits

wallpapers News 2020-12-08
Telluride is a compound of tellurium and metal or non-metal. For example, the representative of telluride with non-metal is hydrogen telluride, which is a colorless, odorous toxic gas; metal telluride has copper telluride, which is difficult Dissolved in water.
Distribution of mineral deposits
Since before the 1990s, it was generally believed that most of the world’s recoverable tellurium was associated with copper deposits, the U.S. Bureau of Mines used copper resources as the basis and calculated the global tellurium based on the recoverable 0.065kg per ton of copper. The reserves are about 22,000t, and the reserve base is 38,000t, mainly distributed in the United States, Canada, Peru, Chile and other countries and regions.

The discovery of a series of important telluride-type gold-silver deposits at home and abroad and geological exploration studies have shown that the geochemical properties of the dispersed element tellurium are far more active than traditionally known, and it can be enriched and mineralized on a large scale and has economic value. Independent deposits or industrial ore bodies, such as the Dashuigou tellurium-bismuth gold deposit in Shimian, Sichuan, the Guilaizhuang tellurium gold deposit in Shandong, and the telluride-type gold deposit in Beiling, Henan. This makes mankind have to have a new understanding of the distribution of tellurium resources.
China's proven reserves of associated tellurium rank third in the world. Associated tellurium mineral resources are relatively rich. About 30 associated tellurium mineral deposits have been discovered nationwide, with reserves of nearly 14,000 tons. Tellurium mining areas are scattered in 16 provinces (regions) across the country, but the reserves are mainly concentrated in Guangdong, Jiangxi, Gansu and other provinces. China's tellurium ore is also mainly associated with copper, lead, zinc and other metal minerals. According to the calculation of the main mineral reserves, China still has about 10,000 tons of tellurium resources that are not included in the reserves. This will change the distribution pattern of tellurium resources and may make China a big country with tellurium resources.
